What can this still do?

The present, where relics sleep and miracles have become folklore. No one still living can claim to have seen an awakening. And yet the markets go on, and those who believe a thing can still do something keep writing price tags for it.

Season 1 “The Necklace That Will Not Wake, and a Deadline Moved Up”

Riko sets out to raise money at the northern market, and marks the unsold necklace up again and again — until Orba the pawnbroker moves the deadline for the down payment forward and leaves her cornered. A broken wheel takes away her means of travel, but her old master Garon is behaving oddly, and that gives her a new thread to pull. At the end of the season a buyer appears for the necklace she kept marking up, at the price on the tag.

Season 2 “The Fluctuating Price Tag and the Distant Deed”

Depicts Riko raising the price of her necklace to avoid selling it, the looming down payment deadline, and troubling rumors about her mentor Garon. After temporarily losing and recovering the necklace, she witnesses Garon in negotiations with Olba's faction.
